The present Hagiologion was received from the first moment with much love by many clergy and laity. Its incredibly large circulation over a period of five years prompted us to make an improved version of it.

Some errors found were corrected, and some changes were made, taking into account new hagiological sources, as well as the latest canonizations. An appendix was also created, for anyone who would like to examine the addition or absence of a Saint on a specific date. This appendix certainly does not exhaust the hagiological research that was required, but it gives a first informative picture to the casual reader.

Finally, we would like to thank all the brothers who, with their suggestions and apt observations, helped to make the Hagiology look better and better informed. We hope that the Lord will reward their efforts and that they will have the blessings of all the Saints.
