Church preaching has been in a desperate state for decades now. In our churches, either preaching is not done or what is being done should be better not done. So we need to be convinced again that the sermon is not a rhetoric, rather it is the way in which the Church addresses and continuously renews the call of God to each of us, and only when the response of each of us to this call it is here I am, only then do we become members of God's people, members of the Church.
