Kavallierakis Stefanos

Stefanos Kavallierakis was born in Athens in 1977. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Athens. He completed postgraduate studies in the field of Mediterranean and Oriental Studies at the University of Strasbourg where he also completed his doctoral thesis as a scholar of the French state (allocataire de recherche). In 2008 he received the Martin Bucer award.
He has written a series of historical articles focusing on the history of education, the movement of ideas and ideological formations during the 19th century which have been published in collective volumes in Greece and France as well as on various sites.
He has been in charge of the process of securing required resources for the maturation and implementation of European programs and is a lecturer at the Training Institute of the National Center for Public Administration.
