Konstantinos Anast. Kantanis comes from Agrinio. He lived his childhood years in Didymoteicho 'Evrou, Delvinaki Konitsa and Gouria Messolonghi, in places where his priest father was a vicar. He completed his circular studies at the 2nd Lyceum of Agrini.
He received the degree from the Zosimaia Pedagogical Academy of Ioannina and the degree from the Pedagogical Department of Educational Sciences of the University of Ioannina. He was retrained at the Teaching School of the Pedagogical Department of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of the University of Patras, specializing in "School Guidance and Teaching".
Since 1982 he has been working in Primary Education.
Since 1985 he lives in Agrinio. He is married to professor Stavroula Katsou and they have four children.
He studied and loves Byzantine music and is a founding member of the association "Byzantine Choir of Agrini", which is active in Greece and abroad. Since 1996 he has been teaching at the School of Byzantine Music of the Holy Metropolis of Aetolia and Acarnania.
He occasionally writes about topics that pain or bother him.
Lately, he has been trying to write stories he heard as well as experiences from his childhood.
