Georgios Kroustalakis

Professor of Pedagogy Georgios Kroustalakis was born in Athens in 1940. He studied at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Athens and was further educated in Rome and Belgium. He taught for three years in Secondary Education and from 1979 he taught as a professor first at the Philosophical School of Rethymnon and then at the Philosophical School of Athens, with the subject "General and Special Education".
His writing work is particularly large and important both in Greek and in French. His Book "Holy Elder Porphyrios, the spiritual father and educator" has been translated into many foreign languages. Today he is Emeritus Professor of the University of Athens, lives permanently in Athens and carries out a wide-ranging project of "Social Pedagogy" with speeches and lectures throughout Greece and Cyprus.
