Kroustalakis Evangelos

Evangelos Sp. Kroustalakis was born in 1936 in Thebes. He entered the judiciary in 1962 and was promoted to the rank of areopagite in August 1992. In January 2000 he was appointed director general of the National School of Judges and in October 2001 he was awarded an honorary doctorate of the Democritus University of Thrace. He published many scientific studies and was the chairman of legislative committees. In July 2002 he was elected prosecutor of the Supreme Court and a year later he retired. He died in 2007 at the age of 71.
