Pappas Vangelis

Vangelis Pappas was born in 1976 in Piraeus. Before successfully entering the School of Fine Arts in Thessaloniki in 1995, he had already studied Byzantine Art for four years under the greatest living teachers. He graduated from the School of Fine Arts in 2002 and during his military service he created the famous Rupel Museum in Petritsi Serres. He then took part in many group exhibitions and to date has set up 9 solo exhibitions, with his works in Greece and abroad, while since 2008 he created the ARTe Visual Studio, a real cultural space in the center of Athens. In 2014 he published his first book: The Synaxari of the Great Martyr Athanasios Diakos, by Parrisia publications.
