Stavropoulou Demi

Demi Stavropoulou was born in Athens. She is a physiotherapist of Neurodevelopmental Education, a member of the Panhellenic Association of Physiotherapists, the Scientific Society of Physiotherapy, the Society for the Protection of Spastics and pr. Secretary of the Children's Department of the E.E.E.F.
She has taught at the Higher School of Physiotherapy and has worked as a manager of therapeutic programs and a scientific consultant at Rehabilitation Centers for Children with Cerebral Palsy. He writes articles and gives speeches with the aim of raising awareness of society on the issue of disability. In 1999 she was honored by the Panhellenic Association of Physiotherapists for her contribution "to the promotion of the science of Physiotherapy".
Her book "On the pain of the glass track - I met the face" published by Akritas (3rd edition 2003) was the basis for the script of the film about the mobility disability entitled "Let's Go Together" by the Educational Radio and Television of the Ministry of National Education and Religions, produced in 2005.
