Howard Stanley

Stanley Hauerwas was born in Texas, USA. He studied theology and prepared his doctoral thesis at Yale University. He is Professor of Christian Ethics in the School of Theology and Law at Duke University. In 2001 TIME magazine named him the most important American theologian, while his book A community of character has been selected as one of the 100 most important books on religion in the 20th century.
