Chrysavgis P. Ioannis

Father Ioannis Chrysavgis, Archdeacon of the Ecumenical Throne, serves in the Holy Archdiocese of America. He was born in Australia, while he studied at the Universities of Athens and Oxford. He taught at the University of Sydney, where he co-founded the School of Theology at Andrew the Apostle, as well as at Holy Cross School of Theology in Boston. Author of various books and numerous articles in many languages ​​about the church fathers and the ancient desert, he has edited three official volumes of writings of the Ecumenical Patriarch (Fordham University Press, 2010-2012).
