Vasiliadis Grigoris

Grigoris Vassiliadis was born in Thessaloniki and grew up between Thessaloniki and Nea Zichni Serres. Since 2002 he lives and works privately as a psychotherapist in Athens.
He studied psychology at undergraduate and postgraduate level in state-recognized universities in Greece, the Netherlands, and Great Britain.
In 2005 he obtained a PhD in Psychology from the Department of Psychology of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
He was an instructor in undergraduate and graduate level study programs in counseling and psychology, a lecturer at scientific seminars and scientific conferences on psychotherapy and counseling, in Greece and in Europe.
His scientific and research interests in the field of psychotherapy are found in the applications of depth psychology in therapeutic practice, the relationship between religion and psychotherapy and in the ways in which the moral ethics of psychologists is linked to the effectiveness of psychotherapy practice.
Since 1997, he has been working psychotherapeutically with adults, individually and in groups, using the methodologies of systemic and existential psychotherapy.
He is a member of the Association of Greek Psychologists (S.E.P.) and the European Family Therapy Association (EFTA - European Family Therapy Association).
He is the author of the autognostic book "The Psychotherapeutic Journey: From the fear of the shadow, to the light of awareness", Ed. iWrite & Source, October 2014.
