Evdokimov p. Michael

Father Michael Evdokimov (son of the famous theologian Pavlos Evdokimov) was born in France in 1930. For twenty-seven years he taught Comparative Literature at the University of Poitiers and then, at the age of fifty-one, he was ordained a priest. He has written various works and translated many books of Russian spirituality into French. He is the editorial director of the monthly Orthodox information magazine SOP and a member of the editorial board of the Orthodox spirituality magazine Contacts. He serves as a priest of the Ecumenical Throne in a small Orthodox parish on the outskirts of Paris, where he lives with his wife, their daughter and their four grandchildren.
