MONK ALEXIOS KOVILIATIS

Father Alexios was born in Albania, where he graduated from the Agricultural School. He was a monk in Greece. He attended classes in Byzantine music and flower arranging. With the encouragement and blessing of the Elder of Father Gavriel, he deals with the recording of the living Orthodox tradition, through the depiction of the everyday life of ordinary people.

With the help of God, his first effort bore fruit and this book was made, giving him the impetus to continue this ministry with the same zeal. Also in publication is his original bilingual study of the traditional costumes of his homeland.
