Pantelis Zouras

THE Pantelis Zouras was born in Thessaloniki and grew up in Athens where he lives. He studied Theology at the University of Athens and Byzantine music at the "Saint Andreas" school of the Holy Metropolis of Nea Smyrna. He especially loved children's literature and writes children's books in his spare time. He works as a theology teacher at the Leonteio Lyceum of Nea Smyrni. His love for education motivated him to participate in the writing of religious books for third and fourth grade children, which were taught in schools from 2006 to 2017. He has been honored for his writing activity by, among others, the Archdiocese of Athens and the Hellenic Society of Christian Letters. He has collaborated as a volunteer and member of the Greek National UNICEF Committee with many organizations in matters of social awareness and promotion of children's rights. He maintains the website www.happywriters.org with themes of reading, family and education. He is married and the father of two children.
