Stamatia Karageorgiou-Papista

Stamatia Karageorgiou was born in Edessa and grew up in rural Florina. She studied economics at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, where she lives permanently, married to doctor Pantelis Papistas. She worked in a bank reaching the position of Director, is a member of the Union of Writers of Northern Greece and speaks five languages. She is a novelist with an obvious love for the historical circumstances surrounding her heroes. Many of her articles have been published in various newspapers and magazines.
