Our intention is to outline, through a set of references, the Most Reverend Archbishop of America Mr. Dimitrios, the man and respected hierarch who, in the present phase of his life, is at the head of the clergy and people of the Holy Archdiocese of America. Our undertaking is awe-inspiring, but our joy is soul-lifting. After all, we attempt to record, in the following pages, the life and state of a great contemporary figure of the Orthodox Church. Theoretically, we can claim that our sources will outline the divinely inspired man. In practice, however, the task is hampered by our inability to synthesize our data with a complete and precise statement of clarity.
