IDENTIFYING AND ADDRESSING A NEW GREEK PHENOMENON
This collective volume tackles an "unpleasant" issue that has plagued Hellenism in recent decades: Boldness, closing in on ourselves, the generalized reduction of hope, in a word the morbid introversion that prevents us from activating the virtues that make us they belong. Now a common observation is the attitude of our politicians, who proclaim visions and detract from works; the speeches of preachers from the pulpit, who dutifully repeat truths, without the spark that would light fires in the tired souls of people, who are constantly bombarded by unexpected modern innovations; of teachers, who as a rule are fixated on the teaching material, ignoring the need of the student to fall in love and employ knowledge with his special talents.
