This book urges us to light a "lamp of divine light". With this light we will see and read thirty-three essays on issues of spiritual life. We will hear a voice calling us: "Adam, where are you?" and then we will turn around and see the sky, the earth, the sea, all praising the Creator of the universe. We will listen to the Prophets in the following pages and the contemplation, the contemplation of God will be encouraged. But we will feel our weaknesses, our pain, our sins, our death and then we will think about redemption, divine mercy, resurrection, eternity.
We will, of course, need quietness and the acquisition of joy. And surely in the Church of Christ, which has sanctifying power and is unshakable with an excellent pastoral ministry, there we will find love and the medicine of immortality. Thus we will understand the difference between divine and human law and the position of scientific achievements. We can then realize our deification and have our soul filled by the Holy Spirit.
