ESSAY ON MODERN HELLENICISM

This book is a selection of pamphlets, the content of which refers to the current affairs and concerns of modern Greek society. Chapter parcels, which follow chronological order, are listed in sections. However, the distinction is purely typological and helps the reader to follow the development of events and to determine the responsibility of the author's judgments and possibly the priority of some comments or some positions. However, the subject of the book is essentially one and, despite the apparent variety of its problematic, it focuses on our national existence and on those symptoms that threaten it with collapse.

The general title of the cover repeats the cry of a chapter and is suggested roughly as an exorcism. This title is borrowed from an anti-authoritarian, edgy rock song, which carries the disturbing presumption that its composer ended his life by verifying the meaning of his lyrics with a living reference to death. (Excerpt from the introductory note of Tassos Lignadis)
