Dimitris Mavropoulos
Dimitris Mavropoulos was born in Athens (Caesariani) in 1944 to parents from Asia Minor. He graduated from the Theological School of the University of Athens and studied under Dimitrios Koutroumbis. He taught as a theologian in Secondary Education from 1969 to 1989. He was a member of the team that published the magazine "Synoro" (1964-1967). From 1982 to 1989, he was a key contributor to the ERT television show "Today is Sunday".
In 1978 he started the publication of "Apanto" by Al. Papadiamantis in a critical edition by N. D. Triantafyllopoulos, founding the publishing house "Domos", which he manages until today. In 1986 he founded a seminary entitled "Theological Workshop", where he teaches theology courses. He is the author of books of theological content and has published articles in magazines and collective volumes. He is the father of three children.
