Memories-Experiences-Experiences
"...I was only 19 years old in 1950, and a curiosity began to grow in me about the exiled world of the Russian diaspora, which had left its homeland and was now living in its memory. It was a tragic dispersion...
In 1951 I visited the Russian monastery of Saint Panteleimon on Mount Athos and that was the conclusion of my first acquaintance with the Russian world...
In this book I describe how my acquaintance with the Russian diaspora and with its eminent personalities who lived in Paris and other countries progressed. Certainly at the center of all these experiences was the Russian Institute of Orthodox Theology "Saint Sergius" in Paris, where I spent almost three years and lived the deepest experiences. The people I met there left me with indelible memories. In this book I try to make known personalities of an unrepeatable past, as well as impressions and experiences of another era that is gone forever."
